Cookies & browser storage

Information about sign-in storage, extension drafts and third-party delivery technologies in Group Scout Pro.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. This policy covers these technologies when used to deliver Group Scout Pro. Browser or extension storage is not the same as a Facebook scan: the extension only processes information you manually paste.

Sign-in and workspace storage

Authentication uses browser local storage to maintain your requested sign-in session. In a Lovable editor preview, sign-in storage may also be shared with the trusted editor to support preview authentication. The extension uses Chrome local storage for your connection settings, sync token, pasted draft and last-sync information. These are used to provide the functionality you request, rather than advertising.

Signing out ends app access for that session. The extension’s Clear control removes the draft; Disconnect removes connection settings, not all stored information. Remove the extension or clear its storage to remove remaining last-sync details. Clearing browser or extension storage may sign you out or erase locally saved information.

Hosting, media and fonts

Hosting and media-delivery services may use security cookies to protect requests and prevent abuse. Loading app screenshots, the product video and externally hosted fonts can send your IP address and browser information to their delivery providers. Their storage and retention depend on the provider and request.

This notice is not consent for non-essential tracking. Non-essential cookies or similar technologies that require consent must not be introduced without the appropriate prior choice. Contact us if you have questions about a storage item you see in your browser.

Your choices

You can inspect, block or clear cookies and site storage in your browser settings and remove the Chrome extension. Blocking necessary sign-in storage can prevent the service from working. Browser settings alone do not substitute for consent where it is legally required. Contact contactlee@winwithlee.co.uk for help.
